Golf:

Mon 30 Jun: SEATON CAREW (tee times from 1pm)

Tue 1 Jul: BRANCEPETH CASTLE (tee times from 1pm)

Wed 2 Jul: DUNSTANBURGH CASTLE (tee times from 10:00am)

Thu 3 Jul: GOSWICK (tee times from 10:26am)

   

Daily Draw:  The draws for the first two rounds will be on the website the week before the event. The draw for the last two rounds will be made in score order.  On Wednesday the leaders will go out first and on Thursday the leaders will go out last.

 

Format:  Individual Stableford with Playing Handicap being 95% of Course Handicap. All rounds count towards the 2025 Orders of Merit.

 

World Handicap System:  New competitors must provide their CDH number.

Overseas golfers need to provide proof of handicap.

Scores will be uploaded to the WHS for GB&I Golf Union members. Overseas golfers must return scores to their home club.

  

Prizes:  Daily Vouchers: 1st - £100, 2nd - £70, 3rd - £50

Overall Vouchers: 1st - £175, 2nd - £150, 3rd - £125

 

Nearest the Pin: £25 GAGT voucher (2 per round)

 

GAGT Order of Merit:  Merit points will be awarded on the basis of 100pts to the winner, 99pts for runner up, 98pts for third and so on.

 

You will need to be a current member of the GAGT to qualify for merit points.

The subscription fee is £40 for 12 months from the day you join.

 

Dress:  No formal dress i.e. jacket & tie not required.

  

Sweep:  Optional £40 sweep (£10 per round), collected in cash before the first round. Paid out daily for the leading three scores and anyone who scores a two.

 

  
Buggies & Electric Trolleys:   Not included. Limited availability; book in advance with the golf clubs directly.

  

Where to Stay:  After golf at Seaton Carew, head to Durham and spend the night in this historic city. The next day, play golf at Brancepeth Castle Golf Club before driving up to Alnwick. Stay for two nights in Alnwick, a picturesque market town, which will serve as your base while you enjoy rounds of golf at Dunstanburgh Castle Golf Course and Goswick.
