Meet and greet at Siem Reap International Airport. Transfer to hotel for check in.

Sunday, 2^nd March 2025

09.15hrs: Pick up from hotel and Proceed to Angkor Golf Resort. Enjoy the free practice ball at the driving range for warm up. 10.00hrs: Tee off at Angkor Golf Resort

Monday, 3^rd March 2025

08.00hrs: After breakfast at hotel, proceed to South Gate of Angkor Thom and be amazed with the faced gates with the devils and gods that lined up at the front. Continue with the scenic Bayon Temple with its 54 towers engraved with the face of King Suryavarman. Drive through the Terrace of Leper King, Terrace of Elephant and Prasat Sour Prat around the complex. Venture at the Ta Prohm Temple a.k.a roots temple that popularized by Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider movie. In the afternoon, we will visit the World’s Wonder and the UNESCO heritage site, the Angkor Wat. End the day with a hike to the summit of Bakheng Hill to view a spectacular sunset over Angkor Wat.

Tuesday, 4^th March 2025

08.30hrs: Pick up from hotel and Proceed to Phokeethra Country Club. 09.30hrs: Tee off at Phokeethra Country Club. Transfer to Siem Reap International Airport for a flight to Phnom Penh (Own Expense). Once arrive, Transfer to hotel for check in.

Wednesday, 5^th March 2025

10.00hrs: Pick up from hotel and Proceed to Vattanac Golf Resort. 11.10hrs: Tee off at Vattanac Golf Resort – East Course

Thursday, 6^th March 2025

09.45hrs: Pick up from hotel and Proceed to Vattanac Golf Resort. 11.00hrs: Tee off at Vattanac Golf Resort – West Course

Friday, 7^th March 2025

Format and Handicaps

Format: The scoring format each day will be individual Stableford.

Handicaps: Playing Handicap will be set at 95% of Course Handicap. The maximum Playing Handicaps are 24 for men and 30 for ladies. If your handicap exceeds these limits, you can still play, but for competition purposes, you’ll play off these limits.

All five rounds will be run under the World Handicap System (WHS). Scores will not automatically be forwarded to England Golf.  Participants MUST return their daily scores to their golf club. The easiest way to do this is to forward the email from Golf Genius, which will be received after each round, and provides details of your scores.

GAGT Overseas Handicap System (OHA):  Handicaps will be adjusted after each round in line with the GAGT OHA system. The GAGT OHA system is based on the CONGU handicap system prior to the introduction of WHS. Adjustments made by the GAGT OHA system will not affect your club Handicap Index.

The GAGT OHA system takes precedence over adjustments made by a player’s home club to ensure consistency. Details of the GAGT OHA system can be provided upon request.

Daily Draw:  The draw for the first two rounds will be available on the website a week before the event.

Draws for the last two rounds will be made in score order.

In the fourth round, the leaders will go out first.

In the last round, the leaders will go out last.

Participants can use the message facility in their Locker/Account for requests such as playing partners and early or late tee times. The organisers will do their best to accommodate these requests.

Prizes and Sweep

To avoid excess baggage charges, prizes will be in the form of vouchers for the Global Amateur Golf Tour.

Daily Prizes:

1^st Place: £100 GAGT voucher

2^nd Place: £70 GAGT voucher

3^rd Place: £50 GAGT voucher

Overall vouchers: 

1st Place: £200 GAGT voucher

2nd Place: £175 GAGT voucher

3rd Place: £150 GAGT voucher

Nearest the Pin:  There will be two Nearest the Pins for each round, with a prize of a £25 GAGT voucher.

Sweep:  An optional sweep of £50, £10 per round, collected in cash during check-in before the first round.  The sweep will be paid out daily for the leading three scores and anyone who scores a two.

Order of Merit

Merit points will be awarded for all five rounds.

Points will be awarded on the basis of 100 points to the winner, 99 points for runner-up, 98 points for third, and so on.

Participants need to be a current member of the GAGT to qualify for merit points.

Local Rules and Dress Code

Local Rules: Local Rules on the scorecard will be in play, in addition to the R&A Rules of Golf.

Dress Code:  We recommend collared shirts and well-kept pants or shorts with a belt. Denim, open-toe shoes or sandals are not acceptable on the course or driving range.

Helpful Information and Travel Assistance

Travel Insurance:  We consider adequate travel insurance to be essential.  As a condition of entry, you are required to arrange an insurance policy to cover cancellation, accident & medical problems, personal liability, legal expenses, luggage, delays etc.

VISA:  You will need a visa to enter and travel through Cambodia as a visitor.

Apply for an e-visa at least 4 days in advance.

Flights:  The most convenient way to fly into Siem Reap is via Siem Reap Angkor International Airport which is about 55 minutes from Sofitel Angkor Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort.

For those that are playing the Vietnam event before the Cambodia event, there is a flight from Danang to Siem Angkor on Saturday, 1^st March 2025 at 17:20 with Cambodia Air.

Internal Flight:  The internal flight from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh is not included, however, there is a flight with Cambodia Angkor Air from Siem Reap Angkor to Phnom Penh on Tuesday, 4^th March 2025 at 19:50 arriving at 20:45.
