If you enter as an individual we will endeavour to find you a partner but we cannot guarantee that other golfers will enter without a partner.

Golf Itinerary:

Tue 3              1^st round - Ocean / Royal Course -  tee times from approx. 10.30am - 12.00pm **

Wed 4            2^nd round - Ocean / Royal Course -  tee times from approx. 09.30am

Thu 5              3^rd round - Ocean / Royal Course -  tee times from approx. 09.30am

Fri 6                4^th round - Ocean / Royal Course -  tee times from approx. 09.30am

** If you are flying into Faro on Tuesday 3rd January please ask for a late tee time

Accommodation:

Accommodation is booked for arrival on Tuesday 3rd and departure on Saturday 7th January.

The four star Magnolia Hotel is located in Quinta do Lago opposite the shopping precinct and less than a 5 minute drive to Vale do Lobo.  The hotel has recently been completely refurbished.

Conrad Hotel, Quinta do Lago                   www.conradalgarve.com

The 5 star Conrad Hotel is located in Quinta do Lago opposite the shopping precinct and less than a 5 minute drive to Vale do Lobo.      

Scoring format:  Play will be in fourballs on all four days.  The scoring format will be Betterball Stableford with 90% of Course Handicap allowance.  The maximum handicap limits will be 24 for men and 30 for ladies.

Daily Draw:  The draw for the first two rounds will be on the website by 5.00 on Sunday 1^th January. The draws for the last two rounds will be made in score order.

If you have any requests for early / late tee times please use the message facility in your Locker / account and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.

Tees:  TBC – depending on conditions on the day

WHS Handicap: The competition is open to all male and female golfers who are current members of a golf club with an active WHS Handicap or the equivalent handicap overseas.

Prizes:  There will be prizes for the leading three scores each day.

To avoid any excess baggage charges prizes will be in the form of vouchers for the 2023 GAGT as follows:

Daily vouchers: 1^st - £100, 2^nd - £70, 3^rd - £50       Overall vouchers:  1^st - £175, 2^nd £150, 3^rd - £125.

Buggies: Shared buggies are included.

Evening activities:

Whilst not all the restaurants are open in January our experience enables us to select the best restaurants and bars and each evening there will an option to dine as part of the group or we can recommend restaurants.

Airport transfers:

Airport transfers are not included but Vale do Lobo is only 20 minutes by taxi from Faro Airport and the fare is approximately 25 Euro. 

Car Hire:
